A.E. Rosen Works on New SuperPower Operations Center

March 23, 2020

A.E. Rosen has been chosen as the electrical contractor for the new 47,000 sq ft building planned by Highbridge Development and Plank Construction Services at the Airport Business Park in Glenville. It will serve as the new operational center in the region for SuperPower - a manufacturer of superconducting wire used in utilities, generators, and motors. The company is a subsidiary of Tokyo-based, Furukawa Electric Co. and this move allows the firm more physical space and will enable additional personnel hires from their current location in Schenectady. It also indicates that the Capital Region continues to be a magnet for high-tech companies.
